Versailles Community Betterment (VCB) is a volunteer 501c (3) public charity corporation with a goal of "working together to raise our community's standard of living."  The Versailles Community Betterment (VCB) is a diverse group of volunteers that are passionate about making Versailles a great place to live, work, and play.  The VCB meets regularly to focus on various areas of community development.  These areas are:​

• Residential 
• VCB Youth

The Versailles Community Betterment organized in January, 2017. We are a fully volunteer 501c (3) public charity corporation, compromised of a board of directors and community members. We currently have 3 committees, each led by a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary. We are passionate about making Versailles a great place to live, work, and play! We welcome volunteers to join in the fun and future of Versailles!

• Planted a Liberty Tree at Morgan County Library along with several local organizations, 2017 (VCB Board)

• Movies in the Park, free to the public, 2017, 2018, 2019 (Youth)
  
• Monetary Donations to Mid-Missouri Missions Team (3MT): 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021(VCB Board)
  
• Community Partner Weeks, partnering with 3MT and many local volunteers and tradesmen (approx 65 volunteers
  per day): power washing, painting and repairing exterior residences and lawns for over 175 homeowners to date,
  free of charge. Value $30K+ every year. 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 (Residential)

• Awarded 4, $250, cash scholarships to VHS graduating Seniors, 2023 (Youth)
  
• Awarded 2, $500, cash scholarships to VHS graduating seniors, 2024, 2025 (Youth)
  
• Facilitated a new Versailles City Flag and Slogan contest. Versailles City Council chose the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
  
• Awarded new flags to the mayor and also to the 1 st place winner and $1750 in prize money at Apple Festival 2023.
  
• Repainted existing bike paths in Versailles, 2024 (VCB Board)
  
• Assisted with Salvation Army Bell Ringing Campaign, 2024, 2025 (VCB Board)
