Versailles Community Betterment (VCB) is a volunteer 501c (3) public charity corporation with a goal of "working together to raise our community's standard of living." The Versailles Community Betterment (VCB) is a diverse group of volunteers that are passionate about making Versailles a great place to live, work, and play. The VCB meets regularly to focus on various areas of community development. These areas are:

The Versailles Community Betterment organized in January, 2017. We are a fully volunteer 501c (3) public charity corporation, compromised of a board of directors and community members. We currently have 3 committees, each led by a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary. We are passionate about making Versailles a great place to live, work, and play! We welcome volunteers to join in the fun and future of Versailles!

"To promote and assist in the assist in the beautification of residential homes and properties in Versailles, Missouri with the aid of public and private partnerships"

Commercial Beautification
"Serving as a resource to businesses and the City of Versailles to cause a beautiful, welcoming, successful business district"

Planted a Liberty Tree at Morgan County Library along with several local organizations, 2017
Fourth of July BBQ 2017 (Fundraising)
Movies in the Park, free to the public, 2017, 2018, 2019 (Youth Services)
Community Partner Weeks, partnering with 3MT, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 assisting over 100 homeowners with house repairs, painting and yard work (Residential Beautification)
Annual Ice Cream Social 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 (Fundraising)
Apple Dumplin’ & Darlin’ Contest 2018, 2019, 2021 (Youth Services)
Painting of building at Monroe & Newton Streets 2018 (Commercial Beautification)
Twenty benches for our city and parks, partnering with City of Versailles, through Solid Waste Management Grant, 2018 (VCB Board)
Facilitation of Mural at Bank of Versailles Building 2018 (Commercial Beautification)
Annual Fish Fry, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 (Fundraising)
Front Door Back Door Business Cleanup 2019, 2020 (Commercial Beautification)
Easter Egg Hunt at Good Shepherd Nursing Home 2019 (Youth Services),

$2,000 contributed to Bike/Pedestrian Path 2019 (VCB Board)
